Having to travel to Melbourne from Queensland for my husband's surgery at nearby Melbourne private hospital. We needed an apartment with 2 beds during the hospital stay. It was within easy walk to Royal Melbourne and private hospitals, a short distance to North Melbourne Errol Street and Queen Vic Markets. The apartments are located in a quiet residental area.
We stayed for about a week as we had a relative in hospital. It is in a great position, only a few minutes walk to the hospital which meant we could go and grab some sleep ourselves when we weren't visiting. The apartment was fantastic, clean and warm with everything you could possibly want. We found all staff to be very friendly and accommodating especially when we needed to extend our stay. Close to trams that take you directly into the city within a few minutes. Plenty of cafes and supermarkets within walking distance. Couldn't have asked for more. Would definitely stay again, even if not visiting the hospital.
I've stayed at RNR for 3 nights during my trip to Melbourne. I would be driving so a free parking spot on site was definitely a plus. They also provide free wifi, which not a lot of other accommodation does. The price was also relatively reasonable. The rooms are big and the bed was really comfy. We didn't stay long so there was housekeeping every day. The heat worked wonderfully on cold winter nights.
Once again we returned to Melbourne for the Aust Open and stayed here for a second time. We had a spacious twin share apartment with balcony on the 1st floor which was perfect. The reception staff were welcoming and helpful. The delightful housecleaning team did their job well and our apartment was well cleaned each time we returned. We hired bikes for 2D and were able to lock them securely in the garage. The location is superb and we enjoyed getting supplies from Queen Victoria Mkt and the Elizabeth St Coles. The kitchen is well equipped and everything is in good condition. It's an easy running outing to nearby Carlton Gardens. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely return. Thanks for looking after us.
